Bhopal, Dec 6 (UNI) The Red Ribbon Express -- which aims at spreading awareness about HIV and AIDS -- will arrive at Habibganj station in the state capital on December 17.

''The seven coach train -- specially-designed jointly by the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and the Nehru Yuvak Kendra -- will halt at the station for two days,'' said Collector R K Mathur.

An exhibition providing information on various aspects of the disease would be showcased in two coaches, while one coach each would be devoted for AIDS interactive training, conference meeting room, counseling and administration and management functions.

Another coach will have artists who would render performances to spread awareness about AIDS.

Mr Mathur said directions had been issued to Railways, police, district panchayat, education, health and woman and child welfare departments to make arrangements so that maximum people could vist the train.
