Hariprasad flays Modi for his statements on Sohrabuddin encounter
Surat, Dec 6 (UNI) Congress general secretary in charge of Gujarat B K Hariprasad, who unleashed vitriolic against Chief Minister Narendra Modi, today condemned the latter's statements on the Sohrabuddin Shaikh encounter case.
''If he is ready to shoulder responsibility of the Sohrabuddin encounter case, then he should also take the responsibility of the Haren Pandya case,'' Mr Hariprasad said referring to Mr Modi.
The party will lodge a complaint against Mr Modi with the Election Commission for his statements on the Sohrabuddin encounter case, Mr Hariprasad said.
Mr Hariprasad, along with Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, was addressing a press conference here.
Mr Kamat, while speaking on the occasion, disputed the Gujarat government's claim of providing 24-hour electricity to farmers.
The Gujarat government was not even providing eight hours of uninterrupted power supply to its farmers, he alleged.
