Lucknow, Dec 6 ( UNI) Paying glowing tributes to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 52nd anniversary of death, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today noted that the real tribute to the Constitution maker was to complete his unfinished tasks.
In a message, the CM said, ''Dr Ambedkar always struggled for ensuring social justice to the Dalits and oppressed, who had suffered inequality since many centuries. He carved out several important provisions for their welfare in our Constitution.'' ''He waged a life-long struggle for the establishment of an egalitarian society. Inspired by the saints of the Bahujan Samaj, UP government is progresssing fast on the way of building an India on the dreams of Dr Ambedkar.
Baba Saheb had paid special attention on education and women emancipation for the establishment of an egalitarian society.
Our Government will fulfill the pious objective by following his teachings and ideologies,'' Mayawati underlined.
