Cambodian PM to visit India

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) India and Cambodia will sign seven agreements, including on prisoner exchange and Defence cooperation, during the visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen here beginning tomorrow.

The agreements will also include those on management of water resources, cooperation in agriculture and petroleum sector and a Line of Credit (LoC).

The Union Cabinet here last week gave a go ahead for the agreements.

An External Affairs Ministry spokesman said here today Mr Hun Sen, who begins a four-day state Visit to India from tomorrow, will be accompanied by a 12-member high-level delegation.

The delegation includes the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Commerce, the Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

During his stay in India, Prime Minister Hun Sen will also visit Hyderabad.

In New Delhi, Mr Hun Sen will call on President Pratibha Patil and Vice-President Hamid Ansari.

On December 8, he will have bilateral talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on bilateral and regional matters and internatioal issues. The agreements will be signed after the talks.

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will call on the Cambodian Prime Minister.

Mr Hun Sen will address a Business Luncheon Meeting jointly organised by the CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM.

In Hyderabad, Mr Hun Sen will visit the National Institute of Rural Development and the Hitech City.
