The
Ayodhya
issue
rocked
the
Lok
Sabha
today
on
the
15th
anniversary
of
the
Babri
Masjid
demolition
with
the
Samajwadi
Party
demanding
action
against
the
guilty,
forcing
the
adjournment
of
the
House
till
1200
hrs.
As soon as the House met, slogan-chanting SP members trooped into the well, demanding punishment to those responsible for the demolition.
To counter them, BJP members, sitting in their seats, raised slogans for building a Ram temple at the site.
Ramjilal Suman (SP), after getting permission from Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, said the term of the Liberhan Commission, looking into the Ayodhya issue, had been extended 42 times, and still the Government could not take action against the guilty.
At this, the BJP slogan shouting intensified, forcing the Speaker to adjourned the House till noon.
