India-EU trade agreement on: PM

New Delhi 1 Dec, 2007: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, addressing a press conference in India's capital city New Delhi on November 30th expressed hope that the trade and investment agreement between India and the European Union would materialize before the next summit meeting.

The EU is India's largest trading partner, accounting for a fifth of India's total trade, and is also one of its most important sources of foreign investment.
