Barwani, MP, Dec 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said development works undertaken by the BJP government had become an eyesore for the main opposition Congress, which was conspiring to unseat him.

Addressing an election meeting in support of BJP candidate Krishna Murari Moghe at Chacharia village in Khargone Lok Sabha constituency, he said despite the Congress protest, the state government was providing sufficient funds for the welfare of the impoverished.

Mr Chouhan appealed to the public to draw their own conclusion after comparing the development works taken up during the present BJP regime and the previous Congress rule.

Consultations with different sections of the society had helped to draw up plans for their welfare, Mr Chouhan added.

He alleged that Mr Moghe, who had taken up development works on a large scale, was removed as MP due to Congress conspiracy.
