Retail trade favours capitalists: CPI
Faizabad, Dec 5 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) today alleged that the retail trade favoured capitalists and would adversely affect 15 crore families in India.
CPI general secretary A B Bardhan said here the central government was taking such decisions which would only benefit the wealthy.
''The government is not paying attention towards the sky rocketting prices of essential commodities,'' he charged.
The farmers were not getting the right price for their produce...the Centre was importing foodgrains from other countries, he added.
He was addressing a function organised by a local Hindi daily.
