NDA final exam results declared

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) A total of 299 candidates have been selected for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for the 119th Course and Naval Academy for the 39th Course commencing from January next year.

The results for the NDA and the Naval Academy were announced today by the UPSC on the basis of written examination held in April this year and the interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board of the Defence Ministry.

There are some common candidates in the three lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and the Naval Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists is 154.

The total number of vacancies are 335 -- 195 for Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for Air Force and 35 for Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch).

The results of medical tests had not been taken into account in preparing these lists, UPSC said.

The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications. These results will also be available on the UPSC website --http://www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks of the candidates will be available on the website after 30 days from the date of declaration of final results.
