Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 5 (UNI) The 12th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) is all set to offer new and exciting experiences to film buffs in the state, as they have an opportunity to watch 60 films from 50 countries.
Of the stipulated 60 films to be screened in the festival, 56 would be new releases, which reflects international recognition to the IFFK, a release said.
Ten films will be shown for the first time in India and two for the first time in Asia, it said. Twenty films were jointly produced by various countries.
The world cinema category would be the most attractive event in the festival as the subject of the films screend in the Festival would reflect different cultures and fictions, it added.
