New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) World's second largest PC maker Dell today partnered with Microsoft India to provide integrated technology solutions to Indian enterprises.
Focussed on the banking and financial services (BFSI), government, IT-enabled services (ITeS) and manufacturing verticals, the companies signed a large account reseller agreement (LAR) to offer core infrastructure and business productivity solutions.
''Dell, which has 600 million dollar revenue business from India operations alone, intends to focus on retail chains in India to offer its products,'' Dell India Vice President and General Manager Rajan Anandan said.
Dell has strengthened its support and service teams in the country to provide value-integrated solutions to customers and has improved its capabilities of implementing and deploying solutions.
With footprint in 630 cities in India, Dell will provide its service network to support enterprises on a real-time basis.
Talking about partnership, Mr Anandan said Microsoft's product and solutions form the core components of Dell's products.
This partnership will play a significant role in the commitment to provide customers with the best experience through cutting-edge standard technologies, added Mr Anandan.
''Infrastructure and business productivity issues continue to challenge enterprise customers, who are looking to reduce complexity in their IT infrastructures and this agreement is a major step ahead in our efforts to provide Indian enterprises with scalable, manageable and secure technology solutions,'' Microsoft India Managing Director Neelam Dhawan said.
