Dalmia Cement's production up 12.5% at 2,31,000 tonnes in Nov

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd (DCBL) today said its cement production for the month of November has increased 12.5 per cent to 231 thousand tonnes against 205 thousand tonnes during the same period a year ago.

''The dispatches have also increased 8.9 per cent to 237 thousand tonnes from 217 thousand tonnes in November 2006,'' a statement said.

DCBL, set up in 1935, said its production for the period of April to November this year stood at 2,181 thousand tonnes as compared to 1,649 thousand tonnes for the same period a year ago, registering a hike of 32.3 per cent.

''The dispatches stood at 2,176 thousand tonnes for the period of April to November 2007, increasing 32.9 per cent from 1,637 thousand tonnes a year ago,'' it added.
