Yeoman launches two models of electric scooters

Bangalore, Dec 4: The City based Yeoman Bike today launched its two models of electric scooters.

Company Manager K M Govinda told reporters here after the launch that the two wheelers will be operated with electric motors and battery and cost less than Rs six per kilometer as transportation charge and even lesser than student bus pass.

The scooters, which runs upto 99 km per charge depending on the model of the bike.

"Using clean, efficient vehicles saves money and time while helping the environment and improving the quality of life in the cities," he added.

The two models-Cedar of 250 watts costs Rs 29,000 and Engreen of 550 watts costs Rs 35000, he said.

The Yeoman Bike, which is associated with a Hong Kong-based company in the production of the vehicles and proposes to introduce solar conversion technology in the bikes in the coming days.
