Silver, Gold opens firm on bullish global advice
Mumbai, Dec 4: The spot Silver and Gold today opened higher by Rs 95 per kg and Rs 20 per ten gm respectively from their last close on on lack of fresh demand from local dealers in view of discouraging advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
Reports from Tokyo market said, yellow metal gained today, as Spot Gold rose to USD 784.20/792.80 an ounce, from USD 781.50/789.20 in New York on the previous day.
Silver edged up to USD 14.15/14.18 an ounce from USD 14.06/14.09 in New York which helped to upward trend in domestic markets, traders added.
Following are the opening rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,845, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint Rs 10,115, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold Rs 10,165.
