Exclusive opportunities for Indian trade in Paris exhibition

Chennai, Dec 04 (UNI) France's top-notch trade show organisers have come together under one roof to present exclusive opportunities for Indian exhibitors in their country and also conducted a road show here last night Organised by the Consulate General of France in Pondicherry and Promosaions, a French-based organisation for the promotion of trade shows, the programe showcased the opportunities in auto component business, construction equipment, processed food, environment, home style and decor, furnishing, optics and eyewear.

Speaking on the occasion Promosaions General Manager Raj Anand said "as Indian businesses are going global, this meet is aimed to acquaint them with diverse trade fair opportunities in France for maximum international exposure".

"France has become the global platform for international events and professional meetings", he said, adding "due to its unique exhibition infrastcuture each year the region of paris alone hoss more than 400 trade shows welcoming 90 lakh visitors and one lakh exhibitors".

As a part of their India visit, the French Trade Fair companies would also visit Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata from December four, he informed.

He also pointed out that in 2006, India figured amongst the top 20 countries that visit trade shows and exhibitions in France.

"France received 4,092 Indian visitors and 535 exhibitors", in 2006, he said.
