City court orders probe against comments on Lord Rama
Bangalore, Dec 4 (UNI) A City court today instructed state police to investigate into a complaint lodged against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments over the controversial Ramasethu issue.
According to official sources the Sixth additional judicial magistrate directed Madiwala Police to hold investigation into the complaint lodged by S Umesh, an advocate for the alleged remarks made by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on both Rama and Ramasethu.
The advocate who had sent a legal notice to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister had filed a complaint in Madiwala Police following no response received from the latter on the issue.
Justice Mallapur, while disposing the case had instructed the state police to investigate into the case and report back to the court.
