Srinagar, Dec 4 (UNI) As many as 438 Haj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir left here today for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in two special flights operated by Indian, officials said.
They said the first flight carried 222 Haj pilgrims, comprising 136 men and 85 women and one child. Similarly, the second Indian flight also carried 216 Haj pilgrims, comprising 134 men, 81 women and one child, the officials added.
About 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir will perform the Haj this year, they said.
