Woman murdered in train before fire brAkes out

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (UNI) The charred body of a woman which was found in one of the four coaches of the Narayanadri Express, which were gutted in a fire at the yard in Secunderabad railway station, was suspected to be murdered.

According to the primary investigation, the way the body lay on the floor of the coach and the things scattered around, aroused suspicion of murder.

Another suspecious thing in the fire was that the offenders who killed the woman, my have also set fire to the train before leaving the coach.

However, forensic experts were still conducting tests on the body to confirm whether the woman was killed in the fire accident or murdered. The railway authorities have already launched an investigation into the accident.

According to South Central Railway (SCR) authorities, railway police found the charred body in the S-3 compartment after battling for more than two hours to extinguish the flames.

Forensic experts, who rushed to the spot, confirmed that the body was that of a woman aged between 16-20 years. The broken pieces of bangles were recovered from the burnt coach.

Railway police, however, suspect that the culprits may have outraged the modesty of the girl and then set the coach on fire.
