Three years' imprisonment for circulating counterfeit currency
Shahdol, MP, Dec 3 (UNI) A local court today awarded three years imprisonment to a person for circulating counterfeit currency of Rs 100 and fined him Rs 500.
According to prosecution, Chhirhari village-resident Manoj Kumar was arrested for handing over a counterfeit note of Rs 100 to a grocery shop owner after purchasing certain items on April, 2006.
Additional Sessions Judge B R Patil delivered the verdict on November 30.
