Bangalore, Dec 3 (UNI) Former Karnataka minister H D Revanna today dared former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa to prove corruption charges levelled against him or quit politics.

Speaking to newspersons at the party office here he said he was ready to face any probe including Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) about any transaction he made while being a minister, with regard to corruption charges against him.

He alleged that Mr Yeddyurappa had been engaged in ''false propaganda'' against him and his family members and had stooped to the level of burning effigies of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.

''In fact, he should be thankful to Mr Kumaraswamy for supporting him as the Deputy Chief Minister,'' he said, adding that it was Mr Yeddyurappa who had betrayed Mr Kumaraswamy.

He claimed that he had never insisted on getting the Public Works and Power portfolios as alleged and said he never wanted to be a minister. However, as the PWD Minister he had cleared various proposals, including buildings for nine engineering colleges. While there were stumbling blocks for all engineering colleges, the one promoted by Mr Yeddyurappa in Shimoga was cleared by the government within two days, he added.
