Mumbai, Dec 3 (UNI) The Bombay High Court deferred its order on the anticipatory bail application of encounter specialist police officer Ravindra Angre, presently posted in Pune Rural, as he was not present in the court today.

The court asked him to remain present on Friday, when the order will be pronounced.

The case relates to a complaint filed by a Thane-based developer, Ganesh Wagh, on October 17, saying that Angre had threatened to kill him, his wife and brother if he failed to handover partership rights in a stadium complex coming up in Thane.

Angre moved the Court after a Sessions Court at Thane rejected his anticipatory bail application. The Court had extended the protection granted earlier to the police officer till Friday.
