Guj govt declares holiday in 15 districts on December 11
Gandhinagar, Dec 3 (UNI) The Gujarat government today declared December 11, the polling day for the first phase of the Assembly elections, as a holiday.
A notification to this effect was issued today by the General Administration Department (GAD).
Kachchh, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Valsad, Dang, Probandar, Narmada and Navsari districts will observe holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
All offices, schools and other establishments, falling under these districts, will remain closed.
