Hyderabad, Dec 3 (UNI) A delegation of ministers, industrialists and academicians from Czech Republic headed by Premyl Sobotka, Chairman of Senate of the Parliament called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the state Secretariat today.
The Czech industrialists are proposing a few major units in the state, particularly power producing equipment plant. SKODA, a Czech company is already in the pipeline.
The Czech industrialists were also interested in starting industries and projects in the fields of power generation and irrigation in the state. The Czech Technological University Chancellor, who is also a part of the delegation, may sign an MoU with a local University in Hyderabad.
The Chairman described the state as having a higher GDP in the country and the economy as ''vibrant'' and ''dynamic''.
The Chief Minister assured all cooperation to the Czech industrialists to start their ventures.
