Cricket tourney for underprivileged by Salaam Bombay Foundation

Mumbai, Dec 3 (UNI) The Salaam Bombay Foundation today announced a cricket tournament for underprivileged children--The Little Masters Challenge, 2007.

Around 120 children from 40 municipal schools will participate in the tourney, beginning from the first week of December at Indian Gymkhana and Dahisar Sports Foundation ground, a release stated here today.

The teams have been coached under the guidance of former Test cricketer Ashok Mankad, S P Bhatia, Surekha Bhandare and Rajan Kargutkar.

Final of the tournament will be held on December 11 at the Brabourne stadium here.

The Salaam Bombay Foundation has been organising this annual cricket tournament for under privileged children since 2005.
