Youth arrested for appearing as fake examinee

Barrackpore, Dec 02 (UNI) A 26-year old Jharkhand youth was today arrested from the Deshbandhu Boys High School at Sodepur under Khardah police station near here in North 24 Parganas on charges of appearing in an examination as a fake candidate.

Police said the accused, Rajesh Sharma, had appeared for the Railway Recruitment Examination for Group D workers in the Eastern Railway in disguise of his younger brother Sunil.

Rajesh was caught during the checking of admit cards and handed over to police by the centre incharge.

Police said a case was registered against him for impersonation.
