Patna, Dec 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inquired about Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi's health and wished him early recovery, who had sustained injuries at the Indira Gandhi national airport.
The Deputy Chief Minister had sustained injuries after the driver of an airport coach carrying him to aircraft applied sudden brakes, earlier during the day.
Mr Modi, along with four others, was to board a flight for Ahmedabad from New Delhi this morning. A special coach was provided to him but when it was nearing the aircraft, the driver had to apply sudden brakes.
As a result, Mr Modi, who was standing in the vehicle, fell down and received minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a thorough inquiry had been ordered by Jetlite airways into the incident.
