Vellore, Dec 1 (UNI) Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko today alleged that the Centre is discriminating Tamil Nadu Government in the Palar Dam issue.
While delivering a speech here after breaking his fast, he said the Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to lay the foundation stone on December six to construct the Dam. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi should withdraw his support to the Centre by issuing a statement on the issue, he added.
Mr Vaiko said all rivers should be interlinked and nationalised.
The Centre should ensure that no state impinges upon the territory of other states and all states adhere to the rules and regulations.
Tamil Nadu was also discriminated in Cauvery and Periyar Dam issues, he alleged.
The MDMK leader said he had undergone fast to create awareness among the people on various issues confronting the State.
