Manipur-based fake currency dealer in Tripura CID's custody
Agartala, Dec 1 (UNI) A local court here have remanded a Manipur-based fake currency dealer in CID custody of Tripura police for further investigation.
Official sources said here today that main accused Md Sahidur Alam was detained by the Panisagar police in north Tripura on October 9 and counterfeit Indian currency, worth Rs one lakh, and a Manipur-based cellphone was seized from his possession.
The CID had taken up the case and the court remanded him in CID custody yesterday, the sources added.
