Lt Gen Kumar inaugurates Dental unit's new building

Jalandhar, Dec 1 (UNI) Vajra Corps GOC Lt Gen SS Kumar today inaugurated the state-of-the-art new building of the Dental unit, equiped with latest scientific gadgets, patient friendly atmosphere and specialist dental care.

The function was attended by Maj Gen KMS Shergill, Chief of Staff, Vajra Corps, retired senior officers including Lt Gen Surjit Singh Sangra, Lt Gen MS Shergill, VrC, Lt Gen AS Bahia and many other serving and retired Army and civil officers including Dr Ashok Sharma, CMO (Dental) and Dr SK Sareen, Member Executive Body DCI.

Lt Gen Kumar addressed the gathering on the occasion and also went around the different departments of the unit.

Corps Dental Adviser and Commanding Officer of the Dental Unit Col Rajesh Saini in his welcome address told the gathering that the unit would be getting six more modern Dental Chair Units and four Radio Visio Graphic units besides some other modern equipment.

''This unit is catering for specialist dental treatment in Orthodontia, Periodontia, Prosthodontia and Oral Maxillofacial surgery. Dental hygiene and denture work of patients is also being taken care of,''he said.
