D-Link India inaugurates new R

Bangalore, Dec 1 (UNI) D-Link India Ltd, country's premier networking company today inaugurated its new R and D centre in an effort to 'shift into overdrive' and augment its product offerings to Indian and global market.

Talking to newspersons here, company Executive Chairman K R Naik said D-Link India was among the very few Indian IT companies involved in designing and developing its own products besides manufacturing, marketing, distributing and supporting its products.

''The company's new R and D facility will drive our initiatives in India by focussing on converged IP Solutions, business routes and gateways and wireless technology products for Indian and global markets. The R and D centre here and the company's manufacturing unit in Goa were known for successful products in networking, VoIP and convergence products,'' he added Company MD and CEO Jangoo Dalal said they were closely studying the evolving needs of the telecom market. ''We should be able to innovate products, as well as strengthen our portfolio of products, aimed at this segment,'' Mr Dalal added.
