Army man attempts to enter Guinness Book records
Tirunelveli, Dec 1 (UNI) A 26-year-old army man has made a unique attempt to create a world record by pedalling three bicycles at a time to a stretch of 40 km at Kovilpatti in this district of Tamil Nadu.
Manikandan, a resident of Pudukudi village near Kadayanallur in this district, created the feat by riding a bicycle and holding two other bicycles with his arms from Kovilpatti to Sankarankovil within two-and-half hours time yesterday.
Later, talking to newspersons, Mr Manikandan claimed that he had already entered in 'Limca Book of Records' by riding three bicycles from Kadayanallur to Tirunelveli in 2005.
The video clippings of his feat would be sent to the authorities of 'Guinness Book of World Records', he added.
