Jammu, Nov 30 (UNI) The Wadhwa Committee, constituted to look into the problems of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and West Pakistan refugees in Jammu and Kashmir, has submitted its report to the state government, official sources said today.

Financial Commissioner (Revenue) G D Wadhwa presented the complete committee report carrying recommendations for the refugees from the PoK and West Pakistan to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad yesterday, sources said.

The Chief Minister also had a preliminary review of the recommendations made in the report at a high level meeting attended by senior bureaucrats, including Chief Secretary B R Kundal and Principal Secretary Anil Goswami.

The government would thoroughly examine the report, the sources said.

Mr Azad had convened on May 11 last year an All Parties Meeting at Srinagar to discuss the problems of the refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 from PoK and West Pakistan to reach a consensus on political issues concerning the refugees.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister had constituted a committee under Mr G D Wadhwa to look into the administrative problems of the refugees and furnish its recommendations.
