New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Eminent cardiologist P Venugopal was today removed from the post of Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following President Pratibha Patil giving assent to the AIIMS Act.
Dr T D Dogra has been appointed as the new director of the premier institute.
Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss issued an order appointing Dr Dogra, who is the senior-most professor and HOD of forensic sciences, as the the new director for one month.
