Poster session at BN-2007 to showcase new applications in nano
Bangalore, Nov 30 (UNI) The two-day 'Bangalore Nano 2007' the first ever exposition on nanotechnology, scheduled to begin here on December six, will have a 'Poster Session' that run concurrent to the conferences.
The conference would also see more than 20 papers presented on topics ranging from Nano particles, Nano tubes, Nano medicines to Nano dentistry.
Young scientists and researchers from premier institutes and universities would be given an opportunity to exemplify their innovations, research methods and outcomes in the field of NanoScience and Nanotechnology on this international platform.
Participants would get the opportunity to present their papers to audiences from not only Indian and Multi-National organisations but also Research Institutes, Venture Capitalists and Government representatives and fellow researchers.
In the posters competition, the best posters would be awarded prizes on the basis of innovation, problem solving approach and socio-economic significance of the research.
According to M N Vidyashankar, Secretary to Karnataka Government, Dept of IT, BT and Science and Technology, currently India was going through the Phase of Research and Innovation in the field of Nanotechnology. There were lots of researches happening in some of the premier institutions in the country.
