Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) The farmers wing (Kisan Morcha) of the BJP will hold a national meet here on December 3 to intensify its stir in support of the ryots all over the country.

Informing this to reporters here today, Kisan Morcha National Vice-President D Koteswara Rao and State President P Sugunakar Rao said its functionaries from 13 paddy-growing states would attend the meet and chalk out nation-wide agitational programmes to exert pressure on the Centre to press their demands, including hike in Minimum Support Price for paddy and 13 other crops.

Referring to the TDP's demand for waiver of loan and advancement of loan at a mere one per cent interest to small and marginal farmers, they said the BJP being a national party alone could achieve these demands and not a regional party like the TDP.

Noted scientists and economists would also attend the meet to provide inputs for lifting the agrarian economy from the ''deep crisis,'' they said.

Coming to power with the slogan ''Aam Aadmi,'' the ruling Congress, both at the Centre and in the State, were ''cheating'' the farmers, they alleged, demanding that the State Government should make good the difference in the MSP between wheat and paddy from the exchequer.

The party would launch agitations in the areas where a particular crop cultivated in large extent did not fetch remunerative price for the farmers, they added.

Charging the Congress Government in the state with ''inadequate intervention'' in the market to ensure good price for the farm produce, they wanted the Government to come out with a white paper on market intervention by State Civil Supplies Corporation and other agencies concerned.
