Govt committed to better healthcare of people : Srivastava

Samastipur, Nov 30 (UNI) Bihar Excise Minister Sudha Srivastava said the state government has started working on several schemes for better healthcare facilities to the people.

Inaugrating the newly constructed flood victims ward at the cost of Rs 96 lakh in the Sadar hospital here, she said yesterday, the government had implemented several schemes to provide better medical amenities to the people.

She also instructed the doctors to take care of the grievances of the patients with improved services.

Also speaking on the occassion, Land Reforms Minister Ramnath Thakur said the objective of the government was to provide modern medical facilities to urban as well as rural segment of the society.

Those found guilty of dereliction of duity will not be spaired, he added.
