Bhopal, Nov 30 (UNI) Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today forwarded to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan a copy of a no-confidence motion, which could not be tabled in the Assembly due to abrupt adjournment of the winter session, and demanded a Lokayukta probe into alleged corruption by Mr Chouhan.

''If the inquiry is not ordered by December 15 then I will submit an affidavit to the Lokayukta,'' he said in a statement issued from his office.

Challenging the Chief Minister to order an investigation into alleged corruption against Mr Singh, the Congress leader said that if Mr Chouhan had proof then he may have a probe conducted by any agency.

''(Bharatiya Janashakti Founder-President and ex-chief minister) Uma Bharti also levelled corruption-linked allegations against me and the subsequent defamation case against her is still sub judice in a local court,'' Mr Singh pointed out.
