60 blue bull antelopes rescued from Palam area
New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Sixty neel gais (blue bull antelopes) were rescued from the Delhi's Palam area, where a new terminal and runway are being constructed.
The antelopes were transported to Asola wildlife sanctuary in south Delhi with the help of Wildlife SOS, a non-governmental organisation.
Wildlife SOS official Katrick Satyanarayan said, ''The airport was clearing land for their expansion project when the herd of blue bulls was sighted living on an area where a new terminal and runway are being constructed.'' He said finding wildlife near airports was not something unusual.
