UP: Undertrial escapes from police custody

An
undertrial
managed
to
escape
from
police
custody
while
he
was
being
taken
for
a
court
hearing
to
Delhi.
Ramesh Beeka, a native of Nepal, hoodwinked the police on Faizabad-Delhi Express, when he was taken to Delhi, along with another undertrial Badri Prasad late last night, Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said today.
Meanwhile, Ram Nath Yadav, Bharat Singh, Mohd Yahiya, Shyam Singh and Ram Janma Dubey, the sleuths under whose custody the absconding was being taken, have been suspended for laxity.
