Uma's return to BJP on backburner?
Bhopal, Nov 29 (UNI) Bharatiya Janashakti Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti's drumming up support today for her party's candidate in the Sanver assembly bypoll -- despite earlier expressing her desire to withdraw BJ nominees from the Gujarat hustings and this state's bypolls -- has placed a questionmark over her possible re-entry into the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Political observers are expressing the likelihood of the firebrand sadhvi's re-entry being placed on the backburner after differences of opinion surfaced with senior BJ leaders announcing that the party would go full speed ahead in Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring Gujarat.
While Ms Bharti defended her Gujarat decision by stating a resolve to prevent splitting of pro-Hindutva votes, her party's bigwigs said that was her personal opinion and their candidates would remain in the fray.
