Texas Instruments holds Developers conference
Bangalore, Nov 29 (UNI) The tenth Developer Confernece of Texas Instruments(India) (TIDC) today began with a demonstration of a wheelchair that operated through neuro signal processing using TI's microcontroller and intelligent censors.
The two day conference showcased the unique applications of Texas Instrument's breakthrough analog and signal processing technologies.
The Conference was dubbed as one of the largest semiconductor ecosystem events in the Asia Pacific both in terms of the number of participants and representation across the semiconductor ecosystem from developers to partners and academia.
Commenting on the event Texas Instruments (India) Managing Director Biswadeep Mitra said TIDC was a flagship event that showcased the state of the art technologies and solutions that would help improve the quality of life and make technology more affordable.
The wheel chair was operated through a microchip implanted in a person's throat which acted in accordance with the thought emerging from the brain.
Some of the technologies that were showcased included surveillance IP cameras, High Definition Television and medical imaging.
More than 25 top hardware, software, component, service and design and manufacturing partners of TI exhibited their solutions at the conference.
