Ayodhya, Nov 29 (UNI) The district administration has clamped prohibitory orders in Faizabad district in the wake of 15th anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition on December 6, ADM (city) Divya Prakash Giri said here today.

Various organisations have already given calls to observe the day differently.

While, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and its associated organisations would observe it as 'Shaurya Diwas' (Day of chivalry), the demolition anniversary would be observed as 'Yaum-e-gham' (Day of sorrow) by the All India Babri Masjid Action Committee (AIBMAC) and other Muslim outfits.

The disputed structure in Ayodhya was demolished on December 6, 1992.

Mr Giri said the prohibitory orders would remain in force till January 31.

The anniversary would be observed as 'Shaurya Diwas' at the VHP headquarters in Karsewak Puram, where the pledge for building Ram temple at the disputed site would be renewed, Parishad leaders said.
