Bangalore, Nov 29 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Mallikarajun Kharge today exhorted the party workers to be in preparedness for Assembly elections to ensure that the party was brought back to power on its own.
Addressing a one-day workshop on the present political situation in the state here, he said the picture was now crystal clear with the dissolution of the Assembly and a united fight by the leaders could ensure the party's victory.
''The partymen should not wait till the last minute to get into election mode but take up programmes at different electoral levels in their respective constituencies to revive the party at grassroots level'', he said.
He criticised JD(S)-BJP coalition government for indulging in infighting and 'looting' the state in the last 20 months.
There would not be any sympathy wave in favour of BJP, he observed saying that the BJP had not done anything good for the people except involving itself in various scams on the pretext of taking up welfare progrmmes.
