Kareena Kapoor, brand ambassador of Head

Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) Actress Kareena Kapoor will be the brand ambassador of anti-dandruff shampoo, Head&Shoulders (H&S), which was re-launched, here today.

Speaking to the reporters, Kareena said,''As actresses we are shooting in different weather conditions wherin sometimes there are sun rays hitting our scalp or there is sand on the beach wherein there is too much moisture. With H&S, which is traditionally a rich shampoo, makes one's hair glow. Also my mom has been using this shampoo for the past 30 to 35 years. My mom too is a huge fan.'' Speaking on the occasion Procter&Gamble (Beauty) Senior Scientist Alison Roughley said, ''The signs associated with dandruff from an itchy to a flaky scalp can make people feel inhibited and hold them back from expressing themselves. The signs can vary from flakes, itchiness, dryness, oiliness and irritation. But beneath it all is an unhealthy scalp. In order to help restore and renew your scalp and confidence, H&S scientists have focused their research to better understand the structure of the scalp surface and how best to provide a product for an unhealthy scalp.''
