AICC spokesman Shakeel Ahmad told reporters here that the code of conduct relating to elections was in force in Gujarat and any violations should be taken note of by the Election Commission.
Mr Ahmad was replying to a question that in its election campaign the Modi government has brought out posters showing the Godhra Train in flames.
Mr Ahmad said if the party has to submit proof in this regard to the Election Commission, then it would do so.
