BJ's internal differences over Gujarat candidates
Indore, Nov 29 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janashakti's (BJ) internal differences came to the fore today when the party's General Secretary Prahlad Patel announced that the BJ would not withdraw its nominees from the Gujarat assembly elections.
''The party's governing body has decided not to withdraw the candidates,'' he told mediapersons here.
Describing former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti's decision to withdraw the nominees as her ''personal opinion,'' Mr Patel said the governing body was not in agreement with it.
At the meeting, the firebrand sadhvi justified her decision by saying that it was taken in the country's interest and would lead to Congress defeat in Gujarat.
