APSFC, UIICL launch 'insurance business campaign'

Visakhapatnam, Nov 29 (UNI) More than one lakh entrepreneurs will be benefitted by the the 'insurance business campaign' organised jointly by the Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) and the United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICL) in the state.

Speaking after inaugurating the campaign here today, APSFC Advisor G Surender Reddy said the campaign targetted to sell policies worth Rs 1,000 crore in next three years.

Both the organisations had presented novel schemes and the latest financial products and services for the small SME sector in the state, he said.

The corporation provided risk coverage services to support all the assistant units.

The APSFC offered fixed deposits to the public and provided training to the practising managers. It also educated the professional college students on entrepreneurship and project report preparation.

The APSFC had tied-up with the UIICL to provide better risk management services to its customers and promote new business overtures.

The UIICL Chief Regional Manager S Sampath Kumar said more than 1,300 branches in the country were providing better services to the insurance trade and industry.

The participants should avail the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and learn about optimum coverage for all kinds of risks, he added.
