''Acrex India 2008'' starts in Bangalore from Feb 15

Ahmedabad, Nov 29 (UNI) Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) is organising its biannual show - International Exposition ''ACREX India 2008'' for three days from February 15, 2008 in Bangalore.

Addressing mediapersons here today, President of ISHRAE Bangalore Chapter S Bhagavan said that ACREX India 2008 will be the finest platform for professionals of the Industry to gain in-depth knowledge.

He said that this exhibition will also bring budding talent in the Heating, Ventilation, Air-Condition, Refrigeration (HVAC&R) and allied industries fold, which like other industries is facing insufficiency of skilled manpower. He said that as Indian construction and infrastructure industry is witnessing a rapid growth of nearly 12 per cent per year, which is twice the world's average, accordingly the HVAC&R and building servies is also growing and the industry estimate for the next financial year is Rs 16,000 crores.

Explaining the efforts undertaken by ISHRAE to appraise the next generation by visiting the campuses and presenting exciting opportunities which young professionals can look for, he said that the efforts seems to be paying off as the students are eagerly waiting to interact with the world leaders who are ISHRAE's main participants.

The event is managed by ISHRAE in association with South India Chapter of American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air conditioning Engineers and All India Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Association. Over 30,000 quality visitors, builders, architects, industrialists, manufacturers, service providers and essentially students are targetting to experience the emerging trends in the HVAC&R industry, he said.

He said that 70 international participants coming from countries like China, South Korea, Germany, USA,Italy, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Thailand and Japan will discuss a wide range of topics including green building, energy conservation, ECO friendly technologies and cold chain refrigeration.
