New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) As many as 22 cases of intrusion and other security lapses were reported at various airports by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security in the past one year, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
''The intruders were handed over to police for legal action. The quilty security staff were removed from duty and put under suspension, pending inquiry. One of them was removed from service after inquiry,'' Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said in a written reply.

X X X RAILWAY SCRAP: As many as 156 persons were arrested this year up to September for stealing railway scrap worth more than Rs 18 lakh from Railway godowns.
Of this, scrap worth Rs 17.63 lakh was recovered, Minister of State for Railways R Velu said.
