Islamabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Turkish President Abdullah Gul will be paying a two-day visit to Pakistan from Sunday at the invitation of President Pervez Musharraf.
He will be accompanied by first lady Ms Hayrunnisa Gul, senior officials, business leaders and top media personalities of Turkey.
''The visit that takes place within a few weeks of assumption of office by President Abdullah Gul is reflective of deep-rooted friendship and solidarity between the two countries,'' Foreign Office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq told a press briefing in Islamabad today.
During the visit, the Turkish President will hold talks with President Musharraf on a wide range of subjects encompassing issues of bilateral, regional and global importance.
The President and the Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammad Mian Soomro will be hosting a banquet and a luncheon for the visiting leader.
